Your Mission & Service Dollars

When you designate an offering to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church, it goes to support local, national and global ministries.

The M&S gifts from across the country are pooled together in a unified fund, then shared across ministries. This year the Alberta and Northwest Conference will distribute $280,000 of your unified M&S gifts in areas of congregational support, community outreach and campus ministry. Click here to see the specific ministries that will receive gifts.

Minister's Message
Dear First Family,

     Creation is blooming all around!
Life is also blooming in this community of First United!
The Spirit provides seeds that lead to abundant life!

Seeds of compassion have led members of the church to participate in Sunday's Stephie's Bike Tour.

Seeds of generosity will grow as we nurture our Grow-A-Row ministry. Plant an extra row of veggies and share the harvest with others!

Seeds of learning are opening up with the Small Group Ministry - "mini-NOOMA".  All are welcome next Wednesday!

Seeds of new initiative are happening with a Facebook Bible Study offered by the United Church of Canada. Check out the YouTube video and sign up on Facebook at "Rock the Bible".

Join us this Sunday in worship, as we rejoice in the many ways God blooms in the world.
We'll celebrate the children and youth ministries while exploring the Trinity in sweeping colour and form.

I can hardly wait to be together!

buzzing with the Spirit,
Rev. Danielle
