​We became an Affirming congregation in The United Church of Canada on January 9, 2022. 
This means that we are intentional to be inclusive of all persons irrespective of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
As a congregation we have taken the time to study what the scriptures teach about sexual orientation. 
We have listened to and learned from the  2SLGBTQIA+ community. 
Through this process we celebrate that all persons are made in the image of God and are loved by God unconditionally.
As part of our commitment we participate in the Fort Saskatchewan Pride Week activities and celebrate with the
​United Church of Canada's PIE (Public, Intentional, Explicit) Day annually
​ to affirm our solidarity with the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
